I have just received an interesting e mail concerning the above event. It seems that next year there will be an "out of period" race for original Group 1 Touring Cars. I don't have any more details but now there is a certain amount of impetus in getting our DPR/TWR, Pete Lovett Rover back together. The car is currently at Paulerspury Coachworks having the bodywork restored by Dave Axisa.
So, all hands to the pumps and we should be on that grid.
It won the class championship in 1981 so rather than Sanyo, I would like to run it in its Daily Express livery.
