Once again something in the Historic Forum of www.ten-thenths.com has sparked an initiative. The discussion revolves around the comparative dearth of sports racing cars running in their original guise with 100 or 1500cc engines. Peter Morley and John Turner have undertaken to put a register together of any owners interested in running a race or two (or more) but any event will obviously rely heavily on commitment. The point being that as historic racers are preparing more powerful vehicles, these machines are being left in the garage. A possible reflection of the increasing "professionalism" of historic motorsport?
